Role: Solution Architect-Knowledge Graph, Search & AI Platforms Duration: Contract to Hire Location: King of Prussia, PA or Jersey City, NJ or New York City, NY or Connecticut(Hybrid- 2 Days/Work from office) Role Overview We are seeking a senior Solution Architect to own the end-to-end architecture for a knowledge graph–centric platform supporting advanced search, discovery, and decision-support use cases. Key Responsibilities: The main responsibilities of this role include: Own overall solution architecture across search, knowledge graph, data, AI, and cloud components Define how platform capabilities integrate into a unified, scalable system Set architectural direction that supports future growth and additional use cases Define how knowledge graphs enable advanced search and discovery workflows Guide graph data modeling and semantic alignment Design integration patterns across platforms, data sources, and services Define APIs, data exchange mechanisms, and orchestration flows Act as the primary technical authority for the program Translate architectural decisions into clear direction for engineering teams Define cloud-based deployment and scaling strategies, AWS preferred Required Skills & Experience 12+ years of experience in solution or platform architecture Proven ownership of complex, integration-heavy systems Strong experience with knowledge graph architectures Working knowledge of Neo4j and graph query concepts, sufficient to guide architecture and integration decisions Hands-on familiarity with graph databases and graph modeling Strong background in system integration, APIs, and data pipelines Experience designing AI-enabled or agent-based platform capabilities Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders Preferred Background Strong preference for experience in biotech, pharma, life sciences, or research-driven environments Experience working with scientific, clinical, or discovery-focused data is a plus Why join Sonata Software?
