Role Overview: You’ll join a new team working to improve how space is used in DashMart’s warehouse locations. Your job will involve redesigning layouts, managing storage equipment, and analyzing site data to help boost efficiency and revenue. You’ll work with several internal teams like operations, analytics, and warehouse support. Ideal for someone with 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical/operations role. Main Responsibilities: 1. Site Layout Redesign (30%) Skills Needed: Excel/Google Sheets, Problem Solving • Improve floor layouts to make better use of storage and workspace. • Create diagrams (in Lucidchart) for warehouse layouts and keep them updated. • Help test new warehouse setups (like multi-bin systems). • Share ideas and suggestions for layout improvements. • Suggest capital investments that could increase efficiency or revenue. 1. Equipment Management (50%) Skills Needed: Project Management, Clear Communication • Order and coordinate delivery/installation of storage equipment. • Track budget and investment needs. • Flag any power-related issues that may block equipment upgrades. • Work with local operations teams to fix power issues and track upgrades. • Keep a record of improvements made at each location. 1. Data Management & Analysis (20%) Skills Needed: Excel/Google Sheets, Basic SQL (a plus) • Upload and maintain data dashboards for equipment and inventory capacity. • Keep dashboards accurate and highlight improvement areas. • Regularly check and clean data, and spot trends or errors. • Work with operations to confirm real-world data matches the systems. • Write how-to guides and keep documentation up to date. Preferred Background: • 1–2 years of experience in a business analyst or data/operations role. • Strong with spreadsheets, process improvements, and basic project management. • Bonus: SQL knowledge or experience with visual layout tools like Lucidchart.
