Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Splunk Dashboarding Professional to design, develop, and maintain dashboards and visualizations that deliver actionable insights and enhance real-time decision-making. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL), dashboard optimization, and Power BI, with the ability to translate complex data sets into clear and impactful visual narratives. This role supports clients across cybersecurity, operations, IT infrastructure, and business analytics domains.
Key Responsibilities:
• Dashboard Development: Design, build, and enhance Splunk dashboards and visualizations to support real-time monitoring, event tracking, and operational insights.
• Data Ingestion & Integration: Ingest and normalize data from diverse sources, ensuring reliability, consistency, and completeness for analysis and visualization.
• Analytics & Reporting: Leverage Splunk SPL for advanced data analysis, report generation, and visualization customization based on business and technical requirements.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously improve dashboard efficiency, performance, and usability to ensure a seamless end-user experience.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cybersecurity, IT operations, and business analytics teams to define and deliver data-driven insights and use-case-specific dashboards.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of dashboard configurations, data sources, and visualization logic to support long-term maintainability.
Requirement Skills & Qualifications:
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Splunk dashboarding, including SPL, report creation, and dashboard optimization.
• Working knowledge of Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling concepts.
• Proven ability to interpret and visualize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience with other business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).
• Familiarity with Python or Shell scripting for data manipulation or automation.
• Exposure to IT operations, cybersecurity, or cloud infrastructure environments.
• Experience working in Agile or project-based delivery environments.
