Akkodis is seeking Splunk Reporting Monitoring Analyst/Developer for a Contract job with a client in Jacksonville, FL/Plano, TX/Charlotte, NC- Hybrid (3 days on site in a Week). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry.
Pay: $70-73/hour โ All Inclusive; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Overview
Bank is seeking a highly skilled Splunk Reporting Monitoring Analyst to design, build, and maintain advanced Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts that enable proactive and reactive operational support for enterprise collaboration and productivity platforms.
This role directly supports Operations and Support teams within a financial services environment, ensuring high availability, performance, and user experience across critical business tools.
The ideal candidate combines deep Splunk expertise, strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Graph APIs, and a production operations mindset, with the ability to translate technical data into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
โข Splunk Reporting Dashboard Development
โข Design, develop, and maintain custom Splunk dashboards, reports, and visualizations aligned with operational and business needs.
โข Build optimized SPL queries to analyse large-scale log, event, and metric data.
โข Customize dashboards for multiple audiences, including Operations, Support, Engineering, and Leadership.
โข Ensure reports are accurate, scalable, performant, and easy to interpret.
โข Monitoring, Alerting Proactive Operations
โข Develop real-time and near-real-time alerts to detect service degradation, outages, and abnormal behavior.
โข Partner with Operations and Support teams to define meaningful KPIs, SLIs, and thresholds.
โข Enable proactive issue identification and trend analysis to reduce incidents and improve service reliability.
โข Support reactive troubleshooting by providing deep-dive data and historical insights during incidents.
โข Microsoft 365 Graph API Integration
โข Leverage Microsoft Graph APIs to ingest, correlate, and analyse M365 telemetry and service signals.
โข Create reporting solutions for collaboration and productivity tools (e.g., messaging, email, identity, usage, and performance).
โข Correlate M365 data with infrastructure, application, and network telemetry in Splunk.
โข Financial Institution Compliance Awareness
โข Operate within a regulated financial services environment, ensuring reporting aligns with security, risk, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
โข 5+ years of Splunk experience
โข 2-3 years of Power BI experience (Splunk potentially switching to Power BI in 1.5 years)
โข Ability to communicate with multiple levels of leadership across other LOBs
โข Microsoft 365 experience (cloud, teams, zoom, etc.)
โข Must be able to raise hand and ask questions (manager has let team members go because they let a problem go on for too long without being able to partner or provide solutions to management)
โข Must be factual and political (communication โ works with vendors and must be confident pushing back with vendors on behalf of client)
