Client: Western Midstream Role: Spotfire Developer Duration: 6 Month CTH Location: 9950 Woodloch Forest Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77380 Work Authorization: US Citizen, Green Card, or Authorized to Work in the US Schedule: Onsite Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (Remote Wednesday and Friday) Job Description: The Spotfire Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive data visualizations, dashboards, and analytics solutions using Spotfire. They bridge the gap between complex data sources and business stakeholders, using tools to build, optimize, and deploy actionable, user-centric BI tools. Key Responsibilities • Dashboard Development: Create, publish, and maintain highly interactive, user-friendly Spotfire dashboards and templates. • Data Integration & Modeling: Connect to multiple data sources, build information links, create calculated columns, and perform data transformations. • Advanced Functionality: Implement custom expressions, IronPython scripting for automation, and JavaScript/HTML for UI customization. • Performance Optimization: Tune dashboard performance and resolve issues relating to data loading, filtering, and rendering. • Stakeholder Collaboration: Gather requirements from business users and translate them into visual analytics solutions. • Support & Documentation: Maintain documentation for dashboards and provide support for existing reports, often working with data engineering teams for data quality. Required Skills and Qualifications • Core Competencies: Extensive experience with TIBCO Spotfire (Analyst/Professional) and data visualization principles. • Technical Skills: Strong SQL knowledge for data manipulation and querying. Proficiency in IronPython and JavaScript for extending functionality. • Database Knowledge: Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or Snowflake. • Data Analysis: Ability to conduct data curation and preparation to ensure data quality. Preferred Experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 3-5+ years of experience in BI and data visualization, particularly with TIBCO Spotfire. • Experience in data modeling and knowledge of data governance concepts. • Experience with Time Series/SCADA data reports • Experience with other BI tools like Power BI About INSPYR Solutions Technology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
