SQL Data Analytics Specialist

Akkodis is seeking a SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist for a Contract position with a client in Fully Remote. Ideally, we are looking for applicants with a solid background SQL Server Data and Analytics extensive experience with Data Analytics, SQL & T-SQL. Pay Range: $70 to $75/hour. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Top Skills: High end analytic skill in SQL, problem solver, & can shift quickly. Responsibilities: • Develop, debug, and test T-SQL code to address a wide range of technical and analytical problems • Determine and implement effective strategies to explore, analyze, interpret, standardize, and conform complex datasets • Collaborate with team members to determine the sufficiency of data and ensure alignment in requirements • Assist Solutions Architects in the development of data processing plans that address the custom needs of each project • Interface with business stakeholders to identify new and/or clarify existing requirements • Manage and prioritize assigned tasks, ensuring deadlines are achieved, communicating appropriately about progress and obstacles. Knowledge/Experience: • 5+ years’ experience in leading the development of technical solutions • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or related fields) strongly preferred • Ability to understand complex business processes and adapt solutions to meet the needs of the business • Excellent communication skills for collaborative interaction with peers, managers, and business stakeholders • Comfortable in consultative interactions, able to clearly and confidently articulate both challenges and solutions to non-technical stakeholders • Must enjoy and have experience working in a fast-paced environment, able to quickly realign with shifting priorities. Technical Skills: • 10+ years’ experience with SQL Server and/or other relational databases • Advanced/expert level knowledge and experience working with SQL Server and/or in the development of T-SQL code • Proficient in tuning T-SQL queries and/or in the optimization of database server performance • Experience performing complex data analysis of very large datasets.
