SQL DBA

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft SQL Server DBA to join our team of motivated, responsible, and detailed oriented consultants. The candidate will work closely with our team to support the SQL Database Environment as well as work with Project Manager(s) and other project resources to meet commitments and deliverables. This position requires an experienced, self-motivating individual capable of performing in a fast-paced development environment, as well as interacting effectively with key customers and users. Responsibilities: Troubleshooting daily SQL Server and SQL Cluster issues. This includes system setups and configuration, error triage, etc. Respond to Requests for Changes (RFC) assigned for system maintenance. Assisting users in creating and building SQL Server databases. Troubleshooting issues related to SQL, T-SQL and MS Access as well as application related issues i.e. SharePoint and others as they relate to database development, support, and management. Qualifications: 8+ years of experience across a wide range of database technologies (SQL Server, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.) Strong core SQL DBA skills and ability to work on current versions of Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience with architecture data models, database creation, backup & recovery, performance tuning, integration Strong analytical skills: demonstrate the ability to interpret business data and translate it into insightful data models Ability to create, modify and diagnose stored procedures Sharp technical troubleshooting skills Demonstrated ability to coordinate the resolution of escalated issues Must understand client business needs and objectives; make enhancements accordingly Able to perform in a complex multi-tasking and multi-customer work environment Able to work within limited time restraints and strict deadlines Able to perform duties without immediate supervision Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent inter-personnel skills Ability to work in a team environment Location: Remote Join our team and be with like-minded individuals who have high standards and aspirations.
