SQL Developer

Job Title: SQL Server Developer Location: Remote Employment Type:Contract Position Overview: We are seeking two highly skilled Senior SQL Server Developers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have deep expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and experience working in enterprise-scale SQL Server environments hosted in AWS. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams, adhering to structured review and deployment processes. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and functions. • Perform performance tuning and query optimization to ensure maximum efficiency and scalability. • Maintain and enhance enterprise-scale SQL Server environments hosted on AWS. • Participate in code reviews, deployment processes, and best practice discussions. • Work closely with application developers, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver robust database solutions. • Troubleshoot and resolve database performance and integrity issues. • Ensure compliance with security and data governance policies. Required Qualifications: • 8+ years of experience as a SQL Server Developer, with strong expertise in T-SQL. • Proven experience in performance tuning and query optimization at an enterprise scale. • Hands-on experience with SQL Server environments in AWS (RDS, EC2, or similar). • Strong understanding of database architecture, indexing strategies, and query execution plans. • Experience working with structured review and deployment processes (e.g., CI/CD, version control). • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
