Role description
Weβre looking for experienced SQL / .NET Developers to join a busy IT delivery team on a contract basis. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment supporting high-profile customers on complex software development projects.
The role is hybrid with time on site in Norwich, so youβll need to be able to commute as required.
The Role As part of a collaborative IT delivery function, youβll be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting data-driven applications and services. The environment is dynamic, customer-facing, and agile, so youβll need strong technical skills alongside the ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a wider delivery team.
Key Skills & Experience
β’ Proven track record in SQL Server development (stored procedures, functions, triggers, SSIS, SSRS).
β’ Strong .NET / C# development skills, including APIs and microservices.
β’ Solid understanding of data analysis and building reliable, scalable solutions.
β’ Source code control (Bitbucket, Git, or similar).
β’ Jira / Confluence or other agile tooling.
β’ Excellent communication skills and experience in customer-facing environments.
Desirable:
β’ Automated testing, Docker, AWS.
β’ Agile delivery experience.
Contract Details
β’ Location: Hybrid β Norwich (onsite 2β3 days per week, remainder remote)
β’ Day Rate: Competitive / market-rate
β’ Start Date: ASAP
β’ Duration: Initial contract, with likely extension given workload
