SQL Developer (contract)

Title: SQL Developer Location: Charlotte, NC Duration: 6 months Work Engagement: W2 Benefits on offer for this contract position: Health Insurance, Life insurance, 401K and Voluntary Benefits Summary: In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. Responsibilities: • Design and develop SQL Server Stored procedures, T-SQL queries, views and functions • Analyze the requirement and develop strategic plan to import and transfer the data between source, staging and destination systems • Create release documents and support build and deployment process across different environments • Troubleshoot the ETL processes to identify any blockers or issues • Follow and maintain the standard practice for code depository and branching • Overseeing overall systems testing including SIT and UAT. • Analyze complex business requirements and provide technical specifications • Will participate in daily standup meetings and provide updates to team. Qualifications: • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. • Experience designing and optimizing complex SQL queries involving table joins and correlated sub-queries on large scale data tables. • Experience working with SSIS packages with thorough understanding of importing data from multiple sources including files and databases • Relational Databases (SQL Server/Oracle) experience • Experience in C# to understand and add/ modify script tasks within SSIS • Experience working in an Agile environment • Understanding of DevOps tools such as TFS/Azure DevOps, Jenkins • Experience with cloud integrations, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics CRM clouds. (preferred) • Experience in Azure Synapse, Fabric (preferred) • Familiarity with Python, PowerShell (preferred) • Experience in using GitHub CoPilot (preferred) • Experience in job scheduling tools such as Autosys or SQL agent (preferred) • Banking industry experience (preferred)
