Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Responsibilities:
β’ Design and develop SQL Server Stored procedures, T-SQL queries, views and functions
β’ Analyze the requirement and develop strategic plan to import and transfer the data between source, staging and destination systems
β’ Create release documents and support build and deployment process across different environments
β’ Troubleshoot the ETL processes to identify any blockers or issues
β’ Follow and maintain the standard practice for code depository and branching
β’ Overseeing overall systems testing including SIT and UAT.
β’ Analyze complex business requirements and provide technical specifications
β’ Will participate in daily standup meetings and provide updates to team.
Qualifications:
β’ Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
β’ Experience designing and optimizing complex SQL queries involving table joins and correlated sub-queries on large scale data tables.
β’ Experience working with SSIS packages with thorough understanding of importing data from multiple sources including files and databases
β’ Relational Databases (SQL Server/Oracle) experience
β’ Experience in C# to understand and add/ modify script tasks within SSIS
β’ Experience working in an Agile environment
β’ Understanding of DevOps tools such as TFS/Azure DevOps, Jenkins
β’ Experience with cloud integrations, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics CRM clouds. (preferred)
β’ Experience in Azure Synapse, Fabric (preferred)
β’ Familiarity with Python, PowerShell (preferred)
β’ Experience in using GitHub CoPilot (preferred)
β’ Experience in job scheduling tools such as Autosys or SQL agent (preferred)
