SQL Server Database Admin/Developer - Need Michigan Candidates

Below is the job description for the position: Position: Sr. Database Developer/Admin Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite: Wednesday & Thursday, 3 Days Remote) Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension) Interview Type: 1st Round – Virtual | 2nd Round – In-person Top Skills & Experience Required • 12+ years of experience in database development and administration. • Strong proficiency in T-SQL and PL/SQL with deep expertise in query optimization and performance tuning. • Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Agent, and monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Redgate, or Idera. • Solid understanding of database security, backup strategies, recovery models, and high availability configurations. • Familiarity with ETL processes, PowerShell scripting, and/or Azure SQL is a plus. • Proven ability to enforce development standards and mentor development teams. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Educational Qualification • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
