Role description
Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for a SQL Developer in a remote capacity. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package. Responsibilities: β€’ Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost-effective application programming solution. β€’ Develops, documents, and follows standard coding practices. β€’ Comprehensively tests, including negative/regression testing, to prevent re-work. β€’ Provides comprehensive consultation to business units and IT management and staff at the highest technical level on all phases of data integration processes and data management. β€’ Design, Develop and enhance new and existing backend application components and ETL processes including creation and modifying of stored procedures, SQL Job, SSIS packages, API's. β€’ Work with data from multiple sources including relational databases like SQL Server, Teradata, and flat files. β€’ Analyze and enhance SQL queries to improve performance, ensuring that queries/stored procedures are efficient, scalable, and align with best practices. β€’ Validate data consistency, accuracy, and completeness within SQL code/Stored procedures and troubleshoot issues related to data integrity across sources. β€’ Strong debugging skills and able to identify and fix the issues/bugs identified in the Code/Stored Procedures. β€’ Creation of necessary technical documentation based on implementation details. β€’ Conduct development work required in a comprehensive manner consistent with our best practices and standards β€’ Coordinate with systems analyst and other developers on technical delivery β€’ Proactively learn ways to improve systems, reducing costs and maximizing opportunities Requirements: β€’ 7+ years of advanced T-SQL (complex JOINs, subqueries, stored procedures, indexes, temp tables and CTEs, query optimization is a MUST). MS SQL is a must. TD SQL is desired but not required. β€’ 5+ years of functional testing and regression/negative testing β€’ 3+ years of Intermediate to advanced SSRS (hands on dev experience with drilldowns, drillthroughs, dynamic groupings, document maps, single dataset for multiple controls etc etc) β€’ 5+ years of intermediate to advance SSIS β€’ Logical, detail-oriented team player who learns quickly and has the ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in a fast paced environment Desired Experience / Qualifications: β€’ Bachelor’s Degree β€’ Teradata β€’ Medicare / Medicaid β€’ Medical and coding terminology β€’ SNP Model of Care β€’ Health Services / Medical Management / Population Health
