Sr. Advisor Security Architect – Generalist Contract: 12 Months Location: Remote Domain: Enterprise Security Architecture – Broad Focus Role Overview : We are seeking a Senior Advisor Security Architect with a strong foundation in enterprise security, capable of operating across cloud, identity, application, and infrastructure domains. This role will act as a bridge across disciplines, helping build cohesive and secure systems across business units. Key Responsibilities: Provide architecture consulting and threat modeling across multiple technology domains. Lead design reviews for cloud, identity, data, and application security initiatives. Contribute to the evolution of enterprise security architecture frameworks. Support governance and architecture review boards. Identify and close security gaps across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments. Mentor engineers and junior architects; act as SME for general security practices. Required Skills 8+ years of experience in security architecture across varied domains. Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, OCI), identity protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML), and API security. Ability to design and evaluate containerized and serverless architectures. Broad knowledge of network security, IAM, secrets management, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO, etc.). Excellent communication and documentation skills for senior stakeholders. Job Type: Contract Pay: $75.00 - $90.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: Remote
