Sr Azure Solution Architect

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Azure Data & AI Solutions Architect to design, implement, and manage a scalable cloud-based data and AI ecosystem. This role will focus on building and integrating Azure data, analytics, and AI services to deliver high-quality data-driven and AI-powered solutions for the organization. Key Responsibilities Data & AI Platform Architecture • Design and implement Azure-based data and AI solutions using services such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, OneLake, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, Power BI, and Power Automate. • Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap for the Azure data and AI ecosystem to support advanced analytics and AI-powered solutions. • Architect scalable data pipelines, data lakes, and AI model lifecycle frameworks. AI & Advanced Analytics • Orchestrate the use of Azure AI services to support AI model development, testing, deployment, and monitoring. • Support the development of AI-driven applications and analytics solutions across the organization. • Ensure solutions include performance metrics, monitoring, and observability. Platform Operations & Optimization • Manage and administer the Azure data and AI environment following security, governance, and compliance standards. • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and cost utilization. • Identify and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications. Collaboration & Leadership • Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver AI-powered solutions. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members. • Ensure proper knowledge transfer and documentation for ongoing support and maintenance. Data Governance & Compliance • Support data governance, lineage tracking, and cataloging using tools such as Microsoft Purview. • Promote data observability, AI explainability, and governance standards across the platform. Required Qualifications Education • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Experience • Minimum 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture or data platform architecture. • Proven experience designing end-to-end Azure data and AI ecosystems. • Experience working as a Solutions Architect or Cloud Architect. Technical Skills • Strong expertise in Azure services including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Cognitive Services. • Experience with ETL pipelines, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts. • Programming knowledge in Python, R, or SQL. • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI. • Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance practices. • Experience with AI model lifecycle management and deployment. Certifications (Preferred) • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate Preferred Experience • Experience in the Auto Insurance Claims industry is preferred.
