Sr. Cloud Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE: Seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer with advanced expertise in building full-stack applications leveraging AWS/React/NodeJS. A key component of this role is also to build the CI/CD pipelines using services/tools like AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy/CodePipeline, AWS CDK, Terraform etc needed to deploy full-stack applications in the cloud environment. This role involves implementing technology solutions that enhance business decision-making and processes across all business units, in alignment with the agency's architectural roadmap and enterprise goals. Job Duties The Senior Cloud Engineer will engage in a broad range of tasks related to the development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and applications. Responsibilities include enabling collaboration, automation, and efficiency in the development of cloud-based micro frontend applications, thereby facilitating the rapid delivery of high-quality software and services to customers. Skills This position requires technical proficiency in AWS Cloud, React, TypeScript, NodeJS, Single-spa or similar frameworks, adherence to software engineering best practices, and alignment with the agency's technical direction. Additionally, the role involves collaboration with teams on leveraging the possibilities of common components and technology solutions to ensure successful adoption and implementation. Additional Considerations • AWS Solution Architect Professional Certification is desired. • Experience in Single-SPA with React JS is required. • Experience building CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy leveraging AWS CDK or Terraform. • Experience building full-stack applications using AWS Lambdas and NodeJS for backend. • Experience building applications leveraging No-SQL database for eg, AWS DynamoDB
