Please reference Cloud Platform Engineer – DevOps Automation. • Project:The Bank is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to support the Bank’s cloud strategy, which is focused on innovation and leveraging rapidly emerging cloud native services to meet the rapidly evolving needs of their customers. • The Cloud DevOps Automation Team is focused on the implementation, deployment, and maintenance of the core Cloud Platforms across the Bank. • The Cloud Platform Engineer will help evolve the core cloud platform, by leveraging emerging best practices and tools, securely connecting to our strategic cloud suppliers, providing a platform for innovation for the entire Bank. Job Description: • Lead real-time triage and incident management during outages, performance degradation, or critical system failures. • Coordinate technical teams to drive rapid diagnosis, mitigation, and permanent fix implementation. • Communicate clearly and proactively with stakeholdersmdash;technical and non-technicalmdash;throughout incident lifecycles. • Host and run incident bridges, ensuring priorities are clear and actions are documented. • Perform hands-on troubleshooting across AWS and Azure cloud services. • Use and improve Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) workflows, including deployments and rollbacks. • Contribute to automation and operational tooling using Python and TypeScript. • Partner with engineering teams to enhance alerting, monitoring, and operational readiness. Technical Requirements • Strong cloud experience with both AWS and Azure • Hands-on expertise with IaC tools (Terraform, CDK, ARM, Bicep, or equivalent) • Proficient in Python and TypeScript • Extensive experience in incident management, including root cause analysis and post-incident review • Proven ability to lead calls, coordinate multiple teams, and maintain calm under pressure • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical updates into clear business-level information • Demonstrated ability to respond quickly and efficiently in high-stakes operational situations Interview Process: Interviews will take place in two rounds with a technical screening component.
