We’re partnering with a leading entertainment company to find a talented Senior Data Analyst to support their Data Analytics and Insights team. This hybrid role @ Santa Monica, CA offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with internal studios and gaming teams, focusing on driving strategic data initiatives and enhancing player engagement. Senior Data Analyst Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive analyses and generate reports to support creative and technical projects within the studio. • Collaborate with live service teams to refine game features, optimize in-game economies, and boost player engagement. • Analyze core gameplay systems and implement analytics that align with development goals. • Lead analytics projects within cross-functional teams to guide design and implementation decisions. • Present complex data insights and strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. Senior Data Analyst Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as data analytics, data science, or related disciplines. • Over 5 years of experience using SQL and R/Python for data analysis and visualization. • Demonstrated ability to translate data into compelling stories and actionable insights. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience managing stakeholder relationships. • Knowledge of gameplay analysis or user engagement strategies within gaming or entertainment industries is a plus.
