Apply today! Title: Business Transformation Analyst Location: Frisco, TX or Farmington Hills, MI, Auburn Hills, MI - 2 days onsite required a week. Job Summary: We are seeking a Business Transformation Analyst with strong SQL and analytical skills to support our transformation initiatives across commercial and financial lending reporting systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys investigative workβ€”digging deep into undocumented systems, understanding legacy data flows, and reverse-engineering SQL queries to support system changes and business improvements. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Perform forensic-level data analysis using SQL to understand existing system behavior and reporting logic. β€’ Analyze and interpret SQL scripts from legacy and active reports to determine the impact of system and business changes. β€’ Work closely with a small team (2–3 people) to drive business transformation initiatives in a collaborative and agile environment. β€’ Investigate undocumented system data and processes to map out current-state data flows and transformations. β€’ Recommend changes to reporting logic and SQL based on business needs and transformation objectives. β€’ Liaise with stakeholders in commercial and financial lending to ensure analytical outputs align with business requirements. β€’ Document findings and contribute to the creation of sustainable documentation for long-term system understanding. Qualifications & Skills: β€’ Strong proficiency in SQL, with proven experience performing deep-dive analysis on complex or undocumented datasets. β€’ Demonstrated experience in data forensics or reverse-engineering of data/report logic. β€’ Experience working with financial or commercial lending data and reporting systems. β€’ Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset. β€’ Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical insights to non-technical stakeholders. β€’ Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and navigating undocumented systems. Preferred Experience: β€’ AFS Vision experience β€’ Prior experience in business transformation or data migration projects. β€’ Familiarity with reporting tools and environments (e.g., SSRS, Tableau, Power BI, etc.). β€’ Experience in regulated industries or financial services is a strong advantage.
