Role description
Role: Sr. Data Analyst 100% remote within US 15+ years of experience Client is looking for a technical Data Analyst in Banking Domain involved in creating CDP's for the Marketing teams. Key skills: β€’ CDP Tools: Experience with platforms like Segment, Adobe Real-Time CDP, Salesforce CDP, or custom solutions using Snowflake/Databricks. β€’ Data Modeling: Designing schemas (e.g., star schema) for customer 360Β° views, journey mapping, and segmentation. 1. Banking Domain Expertise Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, GLBA, and banking-specific rules (e.g., KYC, PII encryption). Data Sources: β€’ Integrating core banking data (e.g., transactions, accounts, loans), CRM (Salesforce), web/mobile analytics, and third-party data (e.g., credit bureaus). Risk Awareness: β€’ Ensuring data governance, audit trails, and ethical use of sensitive financial data. 1. Data Integration & Engineering API Integrations: β€’ RESTful APIs to connect marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Google Ads) and banking core systems. Real-Time Processing: β€’ Streaming data (e.g., Kafka) for live customer behavior tracking. Data Quality: β€’ Validation frameworks to ensure accuracy (e.g., reconciling transaction records across systems). 1. Marketing Analytics & Activation Segmentation: β€’ Building RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) models, CLV (Customer Lifetime Value), and propensity scoring. Campaign Analytics: β€’ Measuring ROI of marketing initiatives using CDP-driven insights. Personalization: β€’ Enabling tailored offers/dynamic content via CDP-triggered workflows (e.g., personalized emails). Tool Integration: β€’ Connecting CDPs to marketing automation (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Tools Ecosystem CategoryTools CDP Platforms Segment, Tealium, Adobe RTCDP, Salesforce Data Cloud Cloud AWS (S3, Redshift, Lambda), Azure Synapse, GCP BigQuery Analytics SQL, Python (pandas/scikit-learn), R, SAS Visualization Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Qlik Orchestration Apache Airflow, Luigi, Prefect Hardcore data analyst with broad experience desired in data warehousing, documenting business process, data governance & data integration Data wizard with hands on data analysis, profiling, and advanced PL/SQL skills Excellent presentation, listening, and writing skills with ability to lead workstreams independently Qualifications Min 15 + years of total experience as senior Data Analyst, financial services and banking experience is preferred Experience with data modelling, data analysis, data visualization, API’s and real time services preferred Full understanding and hands on experience of waterfall and agile development practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
