Join our team as a Senior Data Analyst, where you'll play a critical role in analyzing data to uncover trends and patterns that safeguard state Medicaid programs. Responsibilities • Analyze and interpret complex data to identify fraud, waste, and abuse trends within claims data. • Engage with clients to manage operational inquiries and tasks effectively. • Collaborate with data engineers and software teams to ensure data integrity and quality. • Write advanced SQL queries to extract and analyze data for client inquiries. • Utilize production reports for research and quality assessments of overall data. Skills • 5+ years of experience writing advanced SQL queries. • Extensive background in fraud, waste, and abuse data mining. • Strong analytical skills with a focus on healthcare claims data. • Proficient in interpreting and analyzing diverse datasets. Preferred Skills • Industry certifications such as Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). • Experience with statistical data analysis. • Knowledge of Medicaid policies and fraud schemes. • Familiarity with healthcare claim adjudication systems.
