Duration: 12 month contract with possibility to convert perm
Location: Fully remote role (but needs to be in one of these states CA, Maryland, Virginia, DC, GA, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Hawaii in order to convert perm.)
Working West coast hours since most of the team is West Coast (Limited travel β possible travel to join a team meeting 1 or 2 times a year)
Compensation: $50-55hr
A healthcare insurance company is looking for a Senior Sales and Data Analyst to review data and make recommendations. This role will analyze the sales data, convert the data into insights, present to other teams, βstory-tellβ the data, and then make recommendations. This role requires experience in SQL, Excel and experience story telling the data. This role is internal customer facing (internal teams are the client for this group) and requires strong communication skills. This role will develop weekly and monthly recommendations (for example if a campaign structure is wrong). This group mostly supports sales analytics in membershipsβ the journey starts from the inbound or outbound calls in the call center team or may get addressed with a chat bot, then a funnel to qualify if this is a valid potential client (for example, do you even qualify for Medicare or do you live in the right state), then to applications, then to review for membership. Review this data and present βthese are the backgrounds I see and there is a gap here or opportunity hereβ. The team has individual product experts to speak to or connect the dots with SMEβs.
MUST HAVES:
β’ Ability to Story-Tell what the data is telling you and make recommendations. Strong communication skills. Be able to communicate the findings to a non technical audience.
β’ Make Recommendations about marketing of call center operations strategy
β’ Excel experience β like Formulas, V-Look-Ups, Pivot Tables (Macros is a plus but not necessary)
β’ SQL data mining experience. (our data is curated in an Azure Synapse data base)
β’ SQL joins experience to join 3-4 tables (joining tables to get the right mix of data that we need)
β’ SQL query experience
β’ Ability to consume data and convert to recommendations from Tableau and Power BI
β’ Call center data or something somewhat similar to review inbound data from potential customers
β’ Exposure to healthcare industry and understanding of Healthcare policies and differences among locations, different groups, etc.
β’ A background in sales analytics and the understanding of the sales funnel (A sales funnel is a strategic framework that represents the journey a prospect takes from initial awareness of a product or service to making a purchase. It typically consists of several key stages, including awareness, interest, evaluation, engagement, action, and retention. Sellers use this funnel to track each prospectβs progress, addressing their needs and removing blockers to facilitate a smooth buying process. )
β’ 8 years experience in a sales or data analytics role
β’ Experience creating PowerPoint Presentations (doesnβt need to be intricate)
PLUS:
β’ Macros experience in Excel
β’ Experience working in the Healthcare industry
β’ Experience working in the Insurance industry to understand risk
β’ Experience working in care delivery in healthcare
β’ Call center sales analytics experience
