Job Title: Senior Data Engineer Location: Irving, TX - onsite Tue, Wed, Thu Duration: 6+ months W2 only - no 3rd party/C2C candidates please Role Overview We are seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data integration and transformation solutions. This role focuses on building reliable, scalable data pipelines using Databricks, SQL, SSIS, and Azure Data Factory, in support of analytics and reporting needs. The position will work on both new project on cloud and maintenance projects on prim. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Databricks, SSIS, and Azure Data Factory • Build and optimize SQL-based data transformations, queries, and stored procedures • Integrate data from multiple source systems into centralized data platforms • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to support batch and scheduled workloads • Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance across pipelines • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve data processing issues • Participate in requirements gathering to translate business needs into technical data solutions • Collaborate with analysts, stakeholders, and other engineers to support data consumption • Contribute to code reviews and follow established development standards • Maintain documentation for data pipelines, processes, and data flows • Work within an Agile environment, participating in planning, standups, and sprint activities Required Skills & Experience • 8+ years experience as a Data Engineer or similar data-focused role • Strong proficiency in SQL (MS SQL Server / T?SQL) • Hands-on experience with Databricks for data processing and transformation • Experience working on cloud and prem • Experience developing ETL solutions using: • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) • Azure Data Factory (ADF) • Experience working with large datasets (millions of records) • Understanding of data lake and delta lake concepts • Experience supporting data pipelines in a production environment • Strong problem-solving and communication skills #TECH
