Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Engineer to design and implement ETL processes that extract data from Splunk and load it into Snowflake. This role supports Salesforce’s initiative to track and analyze all user activity on our client's webpage, including high-volume web traffic from both users and bots. Currently, data is stored in Splunk, but historical access is limited to 3 months—this project aims to overcome that limitation.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to move data from Splunk to Snowflake.
• Ensure data integrity, scalability, and performance throughout the migration process.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Optimize workflows for large-scale web traffic and bot activity data.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong experience with ETL development and data migration.
• Solid understanding of Splunk and Snowflake platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting for data transformation.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
