This role focuses heavily on optimizing database performance and requires deep experience across cloud platforms and multiple database technologies. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: • Manage and optimize SQL Server databases in production environments • Focus on performance tuning, indexing, and database refactoring • Design and implement data solutions across Azure and AWS environments • Support and manage multi-database platforms including MySQL (Aurora), PostgreSQL, and MongoDB • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on data integration and migration projects • Troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues • Monitor system health, perform capacity planning, and maintain documentation 🎯 Required Skills: • Strong experience in SQL Server administration and performance tuning • Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS database services • Proficiency with MySQL (Aurora), PostgreSQL, MongoDB • Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, or Python preferred) • Familiarity with high-availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) strategies • Experience in hybrid environments and cloud migrations • Strong analytical and communication skills ✅ Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with tools like Redgate, SSIS, SSRS, SQL Profiler • Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines • Previous experience in a CTH or consulting role
