Sr. Data Quality Specialist

• No third parties • Senior Data Quality Analyst Location: Hybrid ) We’re seeking a hands-on Senior Data Quality Analyst to design and build automation-first data quality controls at scale. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, APIs, and observability, owning the development of data quality pipelines, monitoring, and remediation across cloud and on-prem environments. What You’ll Do • Engineer automated data quality pipelines to detect, diagnose, and remediate data defects at scale • Use Python and SQL for profiling, rule evaluation, schema validation, anomaly detection, and exception handling • Build API-driven integrations (REST / GraphQL) with DQ, catalog, ticketing, and orchestration platforms • Embed automated DQ controls into ETL/ELT pipelines, including pre/post-load validations and SLA/SLO monitoring • Create event-driven alerts and workflows (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) with full auditability • Develop Power BI dashboards and Power Apps to visualize DQ coverage, drift, and operational KPIs • Contribute to CI/CD workflows for DQ assets (testing, promotion, secrets, change control) • Perform root cause analysis and implement automated remediation where possible What We’re Looking For • 5+ years of experience in data quality, data engineering, or analytics engineering • Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for automation and reusable frameworks • Strong experience designing and consuming REST / GraphQL APIs (OAuth2, pagination, retries, webhooks) • Experience integrating DQ into ETL/ELT, CI/CD, and event-driven architectures • Hands-on experience with Power BI and Power Apps for operational reporting • Strong collaboration skills across engineering, governance, and business teams
