Job Title: Sr. Developer AI & ML Duration: 12+ Months Contract Location: Atlanta, GA (Relocation OK) Description: Our client is seeking a Sr. AI/ML Developer to expand the use of Artificial Intelligence across customer-facing and employee-facing digital experiences. This role requires strong AI/ML expertise paired with hands-on software development experience. Responsibilities: β€’ Grow the client s AI capabilities across multiple business units. β€’ Partner with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities and deliver scalable solutions. β€’ Provide technical leadership around AI solution design, architecture, and development. β€’ Influence and adopt industrialized AI/ML design patterns and frameworks. β€’ Define, design, and capture data needed to measure solution performance. β€’ Collaborate with product owners and engineers to build AI-driven solutions at scale. β€’ Contribute to technology strategy, framework selection, and architectural decisions. β€’ Document solutions using diagrams, code comments, and clear technical writing. β€’ Design, develop, monitor, and scale AI components, APIs, and applications. β€’ Implement security standards, TDD, CI/CD, automation, and deployment best practices. β€’ Mentor junior engineers; lead code reviews and reliability improvements. β€’ Conduct performance, load, and automated testing. β€’ Work within Agile squads operating in two-week sprints. β€’ Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement. β€’ Promote an AI-first mindset and help democratize AI internally. Minimum Qualifications: β€’ 5+ years of Software Engineering experience. β€’ 3+ years of AI/ML experience (professional or academic). β€’ Strong experience with Agile, DevOps/DevSecOps practices. β€’ AWS development experience; AWS SageMaker required. β€’ Programming experience with Python, R, Scala, or Spark. β€’ Experience with NLP, sentiment analysis, classification, or pattern recognition. β€’ Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks: TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, CNTK, Caffe, scikit-learn, Gluon, etc. β€’ Familiarity with GenAI technologies, LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and AI guardrails. β€’ Experience working with VectorDBs and data infrastructure supporting GenAI pipelines. β€’ Experience training, maintaining, and deploying large language models. β€’ Experience presenting to both technical and business audiences. β€’ Open to candidates near ATL or MSP offices.
