Sr Fullstack Developer

Role: Sr. Developer - .NET / AWS / MongoDB • Duration: ~12 months • Location: 100% Remote (Must work ET, CT, or MT hours) • Visa Status: W-2 (This is a contract employee position, not a 1099 or C2C role) Assignment Details Day-to-Day Responsibilities: You will be working in an Agile environment, likely using a Scrum or Kanban framework, as indicated by the use of "story cards" and a "point system." Your daily tasks will include: • Working on assigned story cards from the backlog. • Writing technical documentation and design documents. • Coding new features and services. • Performing system and unit testing. • Presenting your work and syncing on requirements with the Product Owner. Required Skills & Technologies This role requires a well-rounded developer with proven experience in the following areas: 1. Core Backend & API Development: • C# / .NET: Strong proficiency is required. • ASP.NET/MVC: For building web applications and APIs. • APIs and Microservices: Experience designing, building, and maintaining microservices. 1. Cloud & Infrastructure (AWS): • Strong AWS experience is a must. • Key Services: Lambda (serverless functions), SQS (messaging queue), SNS (notification service), S3 (object storage). • Terraform: For Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to manage and provision cloud resources. 1. Database: • MongoDB: Hands-on experience is critical. You need to be proficient with: • MongoDB Compass (GUI) • MongoDB Atlas (cloud-managed service) • MQL (MongoDB Query Language) • Aggregation Pipelines (for complex data processing) 1. DevOps & Tools: • CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with setting up and maintaining continuous integration and deployment pipelines. • Azure DevOps: Used for project tracking, repositories, and pipelines. 1. Soft Skills: • Self-starter who can work independently or collaboratively. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication. • Quality and customer-service oriented. Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves) These skills will make a candidate more competitive: • GitHub.com & GitHub Copilot: For source control and AI-assisted coding. • Artifactory/NuGet: For managing package dependencies. • Unit Testing Frameworks: MsTest and NSubstitute (for mocking). • Monitoring & Observability: Splunk for logs and Distributed Tracing for tracking requests across microservices. • Docsify Markup: For creating documentation sites.
