Description Hybrid Onsite 5 days/week, alternating weeks in either Jersey City, NJ, TX, BOS, MMK or SMT Our client seeks a Sr. KDB+ Developer to build and maintain regulatory reporting applications across multiple asset classes under high scrutiny. The role demands hands-on development, data-intensive engineering, and collaboration with business and technology partners. You will contribute to architecture, design, analysis, and delivery in an Agile environment while supporting scalable, reliable reporting solutions. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $135.00 to $145.00/hr. w2 Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain KDB+ solutions for regulatory reporting across multiple asset classes. • Collaborate with regulatory reporting stakeholders and partner technology teams to deliver compliant solutions. • Participate in architecture, design, and analysis to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability. • Implement deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines to support efficient delivery. • Develop and support REST microservices and data integrations. • Contribute within Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban practices. Experience Requirements • Extensive KDB+ development experience. • 10+ years with foundational development languages such as KDB, Java, and Python. • Proficiency with Linux and bash. • Hands-on experience with application deployment automation and pipelines. • Experience with UI frameworks such as Angular or React for 5+ years. • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases. • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD tools such as Kubernetes, Maven, Jenkins, Stash/Bitbucket, Ansible, and Docker. • Experience with source control workflows in Bitbucket/Stash/Git. • Experience with Artifactory and familiarity with API registries such as Apigee. • Familiarity with automated deployment tools such as uDeploy. • Experience with REST microservice architecture. • Experience with Apache Kafka or event streaming platforms (preferred).
