Role Summary The Senior Manager, HEOR/RWE Analytics is responsible for leading analytics efforts to support evidence generation initiatives across HEOR and Medical Affairs. This role is critical in executing analytics for in-house evidence generation tactics that will contribute to asset strategies for both marketed and pipeline products. Operating within a dynamic matrix organization, the incumbent will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including but not limited to HEOR and Medical Strategy, Clinical Development, Precision Medicine and Biostatistics, to drive impactful evidence analytics. HEOR/RWE research areas will focus on unmet medical needs, disease epidemiology, real-world treatment patterns, clinical and economic outcomes, comparative effectiveness, and real-world clinical practice patterns. Additionally, this role will be accountable for study governance, including protocol development and the review of internal evidence generation and analytics activities. The role also requires clear communication of research methods and results to internal cross-functional teams. Staying up to date with evolving methodologies in HEOR and RWE and applying these innovations to research design and execution will also be a key responsibility. Primary Responsibilities RWE Analytics β€’ Lead the scientific design, execution, and interpretation of real-world evidence (RWE) studies to address key HEOR and Medical Affairs objectives across both pipeline and marketed assets β€’ Translate complex real-world data into scientifically rigorous and clinically meaningful insights that inform medical, clinical, and access strategies β€’ Ensure analytical approaches align with best practices in outcomes research, epidemiology, and economic modelling Data Assessment and Compliance β€’ Support the assessment of real-world data sources (e.g., claims, EMR, registries, digital health data) based on population relevance, and fit-for-purpose use β€’ Ensure all RWE research complies with applicable data privacy laws and ethical standards (e.g., HIPAA), and adheres to internal governance Visualization and Rapid Insights Tools β€’ Design and leverage interactive dashboards, advanced visualization tools, and analytics platforms to deliver timely, scientifically sound insights to cross-functional teams β€’ Collaborate with HEOR and Medical Affairs teams to develop and implement scalable solutions that support exploratory and hypothesis-driven research Study Governance β€’ Provide scientific leadership in the development, review, and execution of study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and study reports for in-house RWE and HEOR initiatives β€’ Oversee methodological rigor, and ensure scientific integrity of RWE projects β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and aligned execution of evidence generation activities Methodological Advances β€’ Stay abreast of emerging scientific and methodological trends in RWE, economic modeling, epidemiology, and outcomes research β€’ Introduce innovative analytic approaches to improve the precision, relevance, and impact of evidence generation Job Description Candidate Profile Education and Required Skills: Senior Manager β€’ Advanced degree (PhD, MS, MPH) in Epidemiology, Health Economics, Health Outcomes Research, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative discipline, with a strong preference for candidates with oncology experience β€’ 5+ years of experience in real-world evidence (RWE) or health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare consulting industry β€’ Proven track record in designing, executing, and interpreting RWE studies, including protocol development, data curation, and methodological innovation β€’ Understanding of oncology, neurology therapeutic landscapes, unmet medical need, and evidence requirements across the product lifecycle (pre- and post-launch) β€’ Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights that inform cross-functional strategy β€’ Experience with data visualization and rapid insights platforms (e.g., R Shiny, Python) is a strong plus β€’ Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to lead multiple priorities in a matrixed, fast-paced environment β€’ Ability to clearly articulate scientific and analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences β€’ Proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to adapt to evolving priorities and drive results in dynamic settings β€’ Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and within own team to drive alignment, influence outcomes, and execute strategic initiatives. Salary Range The salary range for this role is $137-$160k. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. Employees in this position are also eligible for Short-Term and Long-Term incentive programs.
