Role description
Sr. People Analyst 3-month contract with potential to extend Remote or Hybrid– work MST hours Pay Range $40.00-45.00/hr. Our client is looking for a Sr. People Analyst, this professional will partner with People Business Partners, Centers of Excellence and business leaders through providing actionable, informed insights that improve business strategy, employee experience, and HR effectiveness Key Responsibilities: β€’ People Data Analysis: Utilizing data from internal and external resources and applying statistical methods to find patterns in data related to recruitment, attrition, engagement, organizational structure, pay practices and more. Recognize trends in comparison to benchmarks and/or expectations. Ensure data accuracy and completeness β€’ Connect data analysis with business need and People policies: Partnering with People Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and Business leadership, identify trends and incorporate business context to make connections between experience and data. β€’ Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership and the People team: Offer practical and informed recommendations to improve policy, workforce planning, talent development, retention, etc. to achieve business goals. β€’ Reporting & Visualization: Collect and synthesize data into user-friendly and always-ready dashboards to support day to day data-driven decision-making as well as track key metrics for business operation, including vacancy rates, attrition, headcount, organizational structure, and engagement. Near Term Projects (Q1 2026 Focused) β€’ Pay equity analysis at close of annual compensation cycle β€’ Organization analysis to support promotion cycle (e.g. Director calibration deck) β€’ Hourly employee engagement analysis β€’ Data consolidation for quarterly business review of the People organization Required Skills: β€’ Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree a plus. β€’ 7+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in People Analytics and/or Data Analytics. β€’ Strong proficiency with statistical methods, HRIS systems, BI systems and advanced Excel skills. (Workday, Tableau, VivaGlint, etc.) β€’ Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and experience assessing complex strategies and processes. β€’ Must handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
