Sr Power BI Developer

TITLE: SR. Power BI Developer LOCATION: 100% Remote PAY: Target pay for this role is between $45 and $60 hourly and varies based on experience ENGAGEMENT TYPE: 9-month Contract-to-hire WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING? The Power BI Developer is responsible for delivering high-quality analytics solutions by designing and developing robust, scalable, and reusable Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets. This role plays a key part in enabling data-driven decision-making by building both visual insights and an enterprise-grade semantic layer that supports reporting and self-service analytics. Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, and Power Query is essential, along with advanced data modeling skills rooted in data warehousing principles. The role requires fluency in building and maintaining star/snowflake schemas, fact and dimension tables, and semantic models that align with business logic. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is a strong asset as the organization evolves its analytics infrastructure. Who We’re Looking For • 5-10 Years’ experience designing & building Power BI reports and Dashboards from multiple data sources • Data visualization, data models, and reusable enterprise semantic models • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs that provide meaningful insights to business users. • DAX Measures & Power Query • Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts • Proficiency with SQL Server Pluses • MS Fabric, OneLake & Lakehouses • Exposure to Azure Data Factory or other ETL Tools Authorization to work in the US is a precondition of employment - we do not sponsor work visas Please NO Third-Party Applicants About Our Client • Our client is a remote, well-funded, retail company with an excellent work/life balance and benefits.
