Sr Product Owner/Business Analyst

Potential candidates will need to have the ability to work W2 on Prominents’ payroll during the contract period. Prominent is helping our client add a Sr. Product Owner/Business Analyst on a contract to hire in Omaha, Nebraska or Greenwood Village, Colorado. As a Business Analyst you will support Agile Release Train (ART) delivery within a SAFe environment. This role is responsible for managing the team backlog, defining user stories, and ensuring the development team delivers value aligned with the product vision and roadmap defined by the Product Manager. Responsibilities • Collaborate with the Product Manager to understand the product vision, roadmap, and features. • Own and manage the team backlog; prioritize user stories to maximize value delivery. Define clear and actionable user stories with acceptance criteria. • Participate in PI (Program Increment) planning, system demos, and inspect & adapt workshops. • Work closely with development teams to ensure alignment and clarity on requirements. Serve as the voice of the customer within the Agile team, ensuring solutions meet business needs. • Support cross-functional collaboration across teams and stakeholders. What We Are Looking For • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a technical environment. • Strong proficiency in Agile/Scrum and SAFe methodologies. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work with technical architects, business resources, and clients to drive decisions. • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with or within government systems or regulated environments. • Background in enterprise SaaS or platform products. • SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification or equivalent. • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Information Systems, Project Management, Software Engineering, or similar. • Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP). Anticipated pay range in the $49-55/hr range.
