Key Responsibilities:
• Build and optimize large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines (Python, PySpark, Databricks)
• Develop real-time data streaming with Kafka
• Partner with traders, quants, and risk teams for data solutions
• Optimize workflows for performance & reliability
• Implement data quality checks and compliance standards
Required Skills:
• 8+ years Python development
• Strong in Databricks & cloud data engineering
• Expertise in Kafka (real-time streaming)
• Relational & NoSQL DBs (SQL, Cassandra, MongoDB)
• Good knowledge of investment banking/trading/risk
• Big Data ecosystem + distributed computing
• Git, Agile, CI/CD practices
Preferred:
• Spark SQL, Hadoop, Flink
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Regulated financial environment experience
