Sr. Python Engineer (AI/ML)

Job Title: Sr. Python Engineer (AI/ML) Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite 3 days/week) Duration: 6 Months Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Python Engineer with proven experience in developing AI and Machine Learning algorithms, including modern LLM (Large Language Model) applications and related frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LangChain, VectorDBs, Guardrails, and similarity search pipelines, along with strong programming expertise in Python. Former Apple engineers are highly preferred due to the project’s focus and environment. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and optimize AI/ML algorithms using Python. • Build and maintain systems for LLM inference, vector search, and guardrail implementations. • Collaborate with data scientists and platform teams to develop scalable AI pipelines. • Work independently in an agile environment, translating ideas into production-level code. • Contribute to model fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment for real-world applications. Required Skills: • Strong experience in Python programming (7+ years). • Expertise in AI/ML technologies, including: • LLM Inference • Similarity Search & Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate) • Guardrails and LangChain • Proven experience developing AI/ML pipelines and production-level applications. • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and work independently. Preferred Skills: • Experience with PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, or similar frameworks. • Experience in Front-End development using React (nice to have). • Prior experience at Apple or similar top-tier product companies is a plus.
