Apex + Integration Development – REST API, custom development Role Purpose Our client’s Salesforce system is a cloud-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform enabling businesses to manage customer data, sales operations, and marketing campaigns. As a critical application for the company’s digital transformation, Salesforce drives annual recurring revenue growth. As a Sr. Applications Developer (Service Cloud Developer), you will be a key member of an agile capability team, designing, developing, and deploying engineering and product configuration solutions that deliver real business value. The team leverages: • Jira – Work management • GitHub – Source tracking • Gearset – Deployment services • OwnBackup – Data management Key Responsibilities • Design and implement Salesforce solutions that enable business objectives and outcomes. • Act as a Salesforce platform SME, maintaining expertise across Salesforce products and APIs, Apex/Visualforce, Lightning, and integration/ETL technologies. • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Technical Leaders, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to deliver scalable, flexible, and secure solutions. • Participate in strategic initiatives to grow platform capabilities across Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Analytics Cloud. • Apply best practices including test-driven development, configuration over customization, and accurate work estimation. • Contribute to release planning and serve as release manager when required. • Provide ongoing platform support, knowledge sharing, and documentation. • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and UAT to ensure solution quality and reliability. • Stay current on Salesforce technologies, trends, and best practices. Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field. • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer. • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud (Email-to-Case, Omni-channel, Knowledge, Assignment Rules). • Proficiency in Apex programming for custom development. • Expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC). • Experience with REST integrations and Salesforce APIs. • Understanding of Salesforce data model and security model. • Experience in CTI integration, email automation, knowledge management, and self-service. • Strong communication skills for engaging business and technical stakeholders.
