Job Title – Sr. Splunk/Cribl Consultant
Location – Hybrid: 2–3 days onsite each week in either Tysons, VA or San Antonio, TX.
Role Type – Contract (6 months)
Must Have Skills:
• Expert-level Splunk engineering and administration
• Deep hands-on Cribl experience with data optimization, routing, and onboarding
• Performance tuning and architecture experience in Splunk environments
• Advanced data onboarding, visualization, and dashboard creation
• Strong executive-level communication and cross-team collaboration skills
Responsibilities and Job Details:
• Maintain, upgrade, patch, and troubleshoot Splunk servers, clusters, and apps
• Optimize and route diverse data sources using Cribl
• Ensure Splunk environment meets performance and scalability standards
• Design and refine dashboards and visualizations for operational insights
• Troubleshoot and resolve ingest and indexing issues
• Work cross-functionally with IT, engineering, and leadership teams
• Present solutions and updates to executives and stakeholders
• Support change implementation during after-hours windows when required
• Participate in a fast-paced, communicative, and collaborative team environment
• Align with multiple departments to ensure operational excellence
