Role description
Job Description :
We are seeking a Senior Systems Technical Analyst with a strong focus on application, system, and platform integrations to join our Capital Partners Technology team. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into well-defined technical and integration requirements that support scalable, reliable solutions.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience analyzing system-to-system data flows, documenting integration patterns, and supporting complex workflows across multiple platforms. The role has a primary emphasis within the Business Process Management (BPM) space and requires close collaboration with developers, architects, project managers, and business partners across the full systems development lifecycle. Experience with SEI platforms, including SEI SWP Accounting, is beneficial but not required.
Key Responsibilities :
• Analyze, document, and support integrations between applications, systems, and platforms, with a focus on data movement, orchestration, and workflow execution.
• Define and document functional and technical requirements, including integration specifications, data mappings, and interface designs.
• Document and support multiple integration patterns, including:
• API-based integrations
• Batch and data loader file integrations
• Direct ODBC and database-driven integrations
• Point-to-point and middleware-based interfaces
• Serve as an analyst within the BPM ecosystem, supporting workflow design, process modeling, and system interaction across upstream and downstream dependencies.
• Develop a working understanding of orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow), including scheduling, dependencies, monitoring, and error handling.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into actionable technical designs for development teams.
• Partner with developers and QA teams to support integration testing, validate data flows, and confirm expected outcomes across environments.
• Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of integration and data issues in lower and production environments.
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation including methodology documents, workflows, and issue logs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of analysis and delivery practices.
Qualifications :
• 7+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Technical Analyst, or similar role, preferably within financial services, private banking, or investment management.
• Strong experience analyzing and documenting system integrations and end-to-end data flows.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and integration designs.
• Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with APIs, file-based integrations, relational databases, and SQL.
• Experience working in iterative or Agile development environments and supporting integration and SIT/UAT testing.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with standard documentation and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Confluence, Jira, qTest).
• Ability to learn new platforms, tools, and technologies quickly and apply them effectively.
Preferred (Not Required) :
• Experience with SEI platforms, including SEI SWP Accounting.
• Exposure to BPM tools and workflow-driven systems.
• Familiarity with Airflow or similar orchestration and scheduling tools.
