Role description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive VBA Developer to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and hands-on experience with Power BI and Power Apps to support automation, reporting, and business process optimization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain VBA-based applications, macros, and automation tools primarily within Excel and Access.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and workflow requirements, translating them into Power BI dashboards and Power Apps solutions.
• Optimize and refactor existing VBA code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Integrate VBA tools with Power Platform components to streamline data flows and enhance user experience.
• Support data cleansing, transformation, and visualization efforts using Power BI and Excel.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VBA scripts, Power BI reports, and Power Apps functionality.
• Document technical specifications, user guides, and change logs for all developed solutions.
Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in VBA development (Excel, Access, Outlook).
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling).
• Familiarity with Power Apps for building low-code business applications.
• Strong understanding of data structures, relational databases, and Excel formulas.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
