SRE DevOps Engineer

SRE/DevOps Engineer Location: Remote PST • NO C2C • Role Summary: We are seeking a mid-level SRE/DevOps Engineer to join their platform engineering team. This role is deeply hands-on, focused on building, automating, and supporting infrastructure in Kubernetes environments. You’ll work closely with application teams, contribute to observability and onboarding efforts, and help scale cloud-native systems. Core Requirements: • 5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps/SRE roles • Expert-level Kubernetes skills (must-have) • Strong automation mindset—able to build and modify infrastructure as code • Proficiency in Terraform, Python, and Bash • Cloud administration experience (EKS, AWS, or similar) • Familiarity with configuration management tools (any) • Observability setup and onboarding (e.g., Datadog) Bonus Skills: • Background in software development • Experience in startup environments • Understanding of how to implement and demonstrate DevOps solutions Culture Fit: • Team-first mentality—willing to help across roles and responsibilities • Collaborative, humble, and proactive • Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments Notes: • This is not an architect-level role • You’ll be working alongside a Principal Engineer • A Senior-level hire may follow—growth potential exists If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you.
