The Role
To support & assist the team in creating and improving management information using metrics, dashboards, and reporting. Formatting and presenting the data securely in a relevant way. Using basic methods; to communicate outcomes appropriate to the audience.
Core Accountabilities
• Working to establish, develop, and maintain high quality reports, dashboards and compelling visualisations of SSC performance, continually seeking new ways in which we can effectively translate data to communicate insights to our internal stakeholders.
• Using statistical methods to validate assumptions and support evidence-based decision-making.
• Support by preparing, producing, and distributing complete, accurate and timely reports to meet internal and external stakeholder requirements.
• Collaborating with SSC stakeholders and management to formulate hypotheses and questions aligned with business goals, service level agreements and KPI’s.
• Integrate PowerApps with external systems, such as SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Azure SQL Database.
• Automate business processes using Power Automate (Flow) to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
• Support with the creation of insightful and interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that present complex data clearly and actionably for stakeholders at all levels.
• Creating and maintaining SharePoint online sites, processes and flows.
• Following the data quality standards and processes to improve the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
• Ensure that data is captured, structured, and stored appropriately so that it is easy to interrogate for reporting purposes.
About You
Minimum essential requirements for the role:
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive meaningful insights from data.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in Power platform to inc PowerBI, Power Apps and Power Automate. SQL knowledge or qualification is desirable.
• Data Visualisation Expertise: Ability to create data visualisations that effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all analyses and reports.
• Business Acumen: Understanding of business operations and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
• Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams within a tribe structure and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Tools & Platforms: Experience with data analysis and visualisation tools such Power platform including PowerBI, Power Apps, Power Automate, D365, CRM, SQL

For many appointments within the CAA, these roles require access to operationally sensitive infrastructure and/or Nationally Protected information. For these roles the post holders must undergo National Security Vetting and achieve the appropriate level of clearance.

Relocation & Property
The CAA will be relocating from Aviation House (Our Gatwick Office) to new premises in a few years’ time. Our move is driven by strategic, operational and environmental considerations.
We will be moving to a new local home, up to a 15-mile radius of Aviation House, to minimise disruption for our valued colleagues and customers.
We are now working with colleagues and visitors to understand what we need in our new office, before we start our property search. We will sell Aviation House and land, vacate the site and move to new premises, but we do not expect to move before 2028
