Storage Validation Engineer
Key Details
β’ Position: Storage Validation Engineer
β’ Contract Type: Permanent (W2 only)
β’ Location: On-site in San Diego
β’ Shift: Day shift
β’ Start date: April 1, 2026
β’ Compensation: $135,200 to $145,600 annually, plus benefits
This role is exclusively for direct hires on W2 and is not open to C2C or third-party arrangements.
Summary
Weβre looking for a hands-on Storage Validation Engineer to support a large-scale cloud hardware environment. This role focuses on storage validation, lab support, and light automation.
Responsibilities
β’ Validate storage devices (HDD and SSD), including running performance measurement tools and reporting results
β’ Support procurement activities such as tracking POs and entering requests in internal ordering systems (e.g., MyOrder / ULOB)
β’ Assist with lab management tasks and hardware tracking
β’ Develop and maintain Python scripts to support test automation
β’ Build and support dashboards or apps using Power BI and/or Power Apps
Qualifications
β’ Experience with HDD and SSD storage validation and performance testing
β’ Python scripting experience for automation
β’ Experience with Power BI and/or Power Apps
β’ Familiarity with procurement and lab operations is a plus
β’ A plus: Knowledge of C/C++
