Storage Validation Engineer Key Details • Position: Storage Validation Engineer • Contract Type: Permanent (W2 only) • Location: On-site in San Diego • Shift: Day shift • Start date: April 1, 2026 • Compensation: $135,200 to $145,600 annually, plus benefits This role is exclusively for direct hires on W2 and is not open to C2C or third-party arrangements. Summary We’re looking for a hands-on Storage Validation Engineer to support a large-scale cloud hardware environment. This role focuses on storage validation, lab support, and light automation. Responsibilities • Validate storage devices (HDD and SSD), including running performance measurement tools and reporting results • Support procurement activities such as tracking POs and entering requests in internal ordering systems (e.g., MyOrder / ULOB) • Assist with lab management tasks and hardware tracking • Develop and maintain Python scripts to support test automation • Build and support dashboards or apps using Power BI and/or Power Apps Qualifications • Experience with HDD and SSD storage validation and performance testing • Python scripting experience for automation • Experience with Power BI and/or Power Apps • Familiarity with procurement and lab operations is a plus • A plus: Knowledge of C/C++ More About Your Role This dynamic role requires a collaborative attitude.
