STAFF AUG - Lotus Notes Expert

ServicePoint has a client seeking a Lotus Notes Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead a data extraction and migration initiative. This position is fully remote and ideal for an experienced professional who can work independently, analyze complex data environments, and present effective, compliant, and cost-efficient solutions to senior leadership. Key Responsibilities • Serve as the subject matter expert for all aspects of Lotus Notes data extraction and conversion. • Extract data from existing Lotus Notes databases into formats compatible with the client's preferred systems and tools. • Ensure all data is searchable, well-structured, and stored in a compliant format. • Evaluate and present multiple migration and storage options, outlining pros, cons, and cost implications for each. • Collaborate with senior management to determine the most effective data handling approach. • Work independently to complete project deliverables and milestones within agreed-upon timelines. • Provide clear documentation of processes, tools used, and data validation outcomes. Required Qualifications: • Proven expertise in Lotus Notes administration, development, and data extraction. • Deep knowledge of Lotus Notes data structures, security models, and integration methods. • Demonstrated experience in migrating or decommissioning Lotus Notes applications and databases. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Experience presenting technical findings and recommendations to senior or executive management. • Understanding of data compliance, retention, and security standards. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with data transformation tools or scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or ETL utilities). • Prior experience converting Lotus Notes data into modern platforms (e.g., SharePoint, SQL, or O365). • Consulting or client-facing experience.
