Role description
SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Statistical Programming Analyst III for a hybrid opportunity in Columbia, SC. This candidate will perform statistical programming, reporting, and data interpretation. This role is highly analytical and reporting-focused, emphasizing statistical computation rather than application or software development.
Required Qualifications of Statistical Programming Analyst III:
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (Masterβs degree preferred)
4+ years of statistical programming or statistical interpretation experience
Strong experience performing mathematical and statistical computations using programming languages
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred: SAS and/or Python (experience converting SAS to Python is highly desired), SQL, Databricks, and experience with data visualization, dashboarding, or statistical modeling
Candidates must have lived in the U.S. for at least 3 of the last 5 years
Responsibilities of the Statistical Programming Analyst III:
Validate data integrity, completeness, and accuracy to support monthly reporting cycles
Support data warehouse table loads and executes standard and routine statistical reports
Develop ad hoc reports and work directly with customers to deliver accurate, relevant data
Perform statistical programming and analysis to produce meaningful, actionable reporting insights
Translate complex datasets into clear, understandable outputs for technical and non-technical audiences
Produce clear documentation and support communication with CMS stakeholders and external vendors
Location: Hybrid (3 Days onsite a week) in Columbia, SC
