SharePoint Developer Location: Onsite, (Eighth Avenue & 41st Street) New York, NY 10036-8299 Duration: 12 months Job Description 1. Analyze business requirements to determine the most effective solution strategy , custom development, evaluating software , or modifying existing solutions , to deliver functional and efficient results. 1. Design , develop and maintain custom ASP/ MVC.NET web applications and SharePoint solutions 1. Implement responsive and user friendly front ends using client side frameworks like jQuery, Bootstrap , React and Angular. 1. Develop and optimize SQL database to support application needs, ensuing performance, integrity and scalability. 1. Use low code development platforms such as PowerApps, Power Automate , Pattern Builder and Fliplet to design and implement custom applications that improve business processes and workflow efficiency. 1. Develop, deploy and manage complex reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, and other analytical tools to support business decision making 1. Provide high level technical support and training to users , empowering them to fully leverage technology solutions. 1. Troubleshot and resolve issues related to the managed platforms. 1. Integrate custom solutions with existing enterprise system and third party services to enhance functionality and user experience 1. Lead project development efforts and ensuring best practices in software development are followed. 1. Identify troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues in a timely and efficient manner. 1. Proactively seek and implement improvements in development processes , technologies and tools to enhance productivity and solution quality 1. Produce comprehensive documentation for developed solutions and maintain regular reports on project status , challenges and achievements. 1. Collaborate with project managers , business analysts and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and deliverables. 1. Provide after-hours support and perform maintenance tasks as needed to ensure system reliability and availability. Qualifications 1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Systems or a related field 1. Minimum 8 years experience in software development with strong focus on SharePoint, SQL Server and the .NET environment. 1. Proficiency developing ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET Core MVC applications 1. Proficiency in administration and development of SharePoint 2016, 2019, SE and SharePoint Online web components. 1. Strong Knowledge of C# programming language with expertise in Web API development , SQL and the Entity Framework. 1. Experience with client side and front end frameworks such as jQuery, Bootstrap, React and Angular 1. Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects with strong organizational and prioritization skills, 1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical concepts to non technical audiences 1. Strong problems solving skills with a methodical approach to tacking challenges and delivering innovative solutions. 1. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, providing support and mentorship to team members as needed.
