Job Title: Storage Engineer (Commvault Experience)
Duration: long-term contract
Location: Hybrid (Sheffield-based)
We are looking for an experienced Storage Engineer to design, develop, and support automation for enterprise data protection services within a banking environment.
Responsibilities
• Build and support automation, reporting, and monitoring for data protection platforms
• Provide engineering support for data protection products and standard usage
• Evaluate products, new features, and upgrades
• Produce clear documentation and mentor junior engineers
Requirements
• Strong expertise in Veritas NetBackup and Commvault
• Good to have development experience (Python, Bash)
• Working experience with Ansible and Puppet
• Experience in designing and testing REST APIs
