Job Title: Subject Matter Expert (SME)-Sage 100 → Sage 300 Migration SME Location: Remote Engagement: Contract Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on Sage ERP Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep experience in Sage 100 and Sage 300 systems to lead a full-cycle ERP migration. The candidate must have executed at least 1–2 end-to-end Sage 100 to Sage 300 migrations, including data conversion, validation, and post-go-live support. Key Responsibilities • Lead hands-on migration from Sage 100 to Sage 300 • Perform data extraction, mapping, transformation, and validation • Analyze Sage 100 setup including: • GL, AP, AR, Inventory, Job Costing • Design Sage 300 target architecture and data model alignment • Execute migration using SQL-based tools and scripts • Perform reconciliation between legacy and target systems • Support UAT, regression testing, and go-live cutover • Resolve data integrity issues and post-migration defects • Work closely with US business users and offshore technical teams • Document migration approach, mapping rules, and runbooks Required Skills • 8–12 years in Sage ERP (must have Sage 100 + Sage 300 exposure) • Strong experience in ERP data migration projects (not just implementation) • Deep knowledge of: • General Ledger (GL) • Accounts Payable (AP) • Accounts Receivable (AR) • Inventory modules • Strong SQL Server / database skills • Experience with data mapping & ETL concepts • Prior experience in ERP upgrades or conversions Nice to Have • Crystal Reports / Sage Intelligence • API / integration experience • Experience working with US clients + offshore teams • ERP certification (Sage / Finance systems) Soft Skills • Strong ownership mindset • Ability to work independently as a lead SME • Strong communication with business + technical teams
