Role description
Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in IT, Gen AI, Data Science, Software & Product Development ansrsource is looking for several subject matter experts (SMEs) to do assessment development and course review. These roles will support a content development initiative for a client’s performance-based course development and assessment project. Various SMEs will work with our client to create and review content across the following topics: ·      IT ·      Generative AI ·      Data Science ·      Software and Product Development We are hiring multiple SMEs in the above areas to fill the following roles: Content Curation SMEs will: ·      Review course catalog content and map modules to specific skill expressions. ·      Tag each module with relevant tools, hands-on activities, skill level, and quality signals. ·      Evaluate instructional clarity, alignment to real-world job skills, and standalone value. ·      Document rationale for inclusion/exclusion and note any content gaps or issues. ·      Collaborate with Learning Designers to assemble course shells and recommend improvements. Qualifications for the role above: ·      3+ years of industry experience in the role or in learning design/content curation. ·      Strong communication skills to convey content evaluations, suggestions, and concerns clearly. ·      Excellent documentation habits - able to track tagging decisions, module evaluations, and content notes in shared templates or trackers. ·      Able to work productively in a fast-paced, high-volume project environment with shifting priorities. ·      Learning design experience is a plus. Assessment Developmental SMEs will: ·      Design hands-on, scenario-based assessments aligned to target skills. ·      Ensure each task can be programmatically auto-graded with deterministic outputs. ·      Write clear, professional prompts, learner instructions, and expected solutions. ·      Collaborate with Assessment Developers to ensure alignment with rubrics and grading logic. ·      Test AI grading efficacy by submitting golden solutions and common incorrect responses to validate accuracy and robustness. ·      Iterate based on internal review and beta testing feedback. Qualifications for the role above: ·      3+ years of experience in the target role or adjacent field. ·      Experience with hands-on assessments or training material creation. ·      Strong attention to detail and ability to write clear technical tasks. ·      Highly organized and comfortable documenting work, decisions, and feedback for cross-functional teams. ·      Able to work efficiently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. About these positions: ·      These are freelance/contract, remote positions. ·      We anticipate these roles may take up to 40 hours a week for approximately two months. ·      Sometimes quick turnaround will be necessary. ·      Applicants may be asked to do a short qualifier before starting work. ·      These positions will be paid per hour. ·      As these are independent contractor positions, compensation is limited to the hourly rate, and we cannot offer VISA/work authorization support.
