JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is hiring a Supply Chain Analyst for a top tech client to be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to supply plans. This is a 12 month contract role remote across Canada or the US. The successful candidate will work closely with the strategic planning team to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, providing insights to help optimize our supply planning processes.
Responsibilities:
-Develop and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources using SQL and Python.
- Develop and maintain databases, dashboards, and reports to track key performance metrics (KPIs) and metrics.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Drive automation projects in an aggressive timeline.
- Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with cross-functional teams, in order to best understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
- Develop and implement data visualization tools to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Supply Chain Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in supply planning, forecasting, inventory planning, or supply chain optimization
- 3+ years of experience using SQL
- 3+ years of experience using Python
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of planning principles, practices, and technologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in pandas, NumPy, and other Python libraries for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience implementing automation of business processes
- Proficiency in SQL and database management
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to learn quickly and action urgent requests with little context and gain context over time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques
