Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst (SAP, Power BI, Python) Location: Atlanta, GA 30308 (Hybrid: 2x/Week onsite) Contract duration: 6+ Months, Long-term. Industry: Rail Transportation. For supply chain: With the crew lodging and transportation services would be a plus; however, supply chain experience in Mechanical, Engineering, Python, Power BI, and SAP is a must. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Supply Chain Analyst (ERP) to support and optimize supply chain operations through data analysis, ERP systems, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP and related enterprise tools, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities β€’ Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement β€’ Utilize ERP systems (primarily SAP) to manage, track, and optimize supply chain processes β€’ Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to support business decisions β€’ Collaborate with procurement, logistics, finance, and operations teams β€’ Support contract drafting and review processes as needed β€’ Ensure data integrity across systems and reporting tools β€’ Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain functions β€’ Assist in forecasting, demand planning, and inventory optimization β€’ Provide recommendations based on analytical findings and business requirements Required Qualifications Experience: Minimum: 3–5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, ERP, or analytics roles Preferred: 6–10 years of experience in similar roles Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) preferred in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field Technical Skills SAP (mandatory) Microsoft Excel / Spreadsheets (advanced proficiency) Microsoft Word / Word Processing Microsoft PowerPoint / Presentations Microsoft Access / Database Development Experience with web-based portals and enterprise applications Core Competencies β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills β€’ Adaptive thinking and ability to work in dynamic environments β€’ Effective communication and stakeholder management β€’ Sound decision-making capabilities β€’ Basic understanding of legal and contract drafting/review β€’ Ability to lead initiatives and empower cross-functional teams Preferred / Additional Skills β€’ Candidates with experience in the following areas will be highly preferred: β€’ Mechanical or Engineering background β€’ Programming knowledge (Python) β€’ Data visualization tools (Power BI) β€’ Advanced SAP capabilities The Supply Chain Analyst (ERP) role in the rail transportation industry focuses on analyzing supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, optimize processes, and support strategic decisions using ERP systems, primarily SAP.
