Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Supply Chain Analyst in Chicago, IL
Employment Type: Contract
Location: Onsite - Chicago, IL
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm CST
Pay rate: $25-$29/hr
Responsibilities:
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
• Analyze operational challenges and design data-driven solutions for network optimization.
• Maintain and update internal documentation for training and knowledge sharing.
• Leverage advanced modeling techniques to forecast and plan supply chain capacity.
• Create dashboards and reports to communicate performance metrics to stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Transportation/Supply Chain, Operations, Mathematics, or related field.
• Strong mathematical, logical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros) and SQL for data analysis.
• Experience as an analyst or academic focus in data-driven problem solving.
• Understanding of systems and configuration management principles.
Nice to have:
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• Previous experience in supply planning, demand planning, inventory management, or retail operations (5–8 years).
• Experience handling large, complex datasets and presenting results to senior leadership.
• Proficiency with supply chain software (SAP, BlueYonder, AWS Supply Chain tools) and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
